Lego Designer Thingy

A fuckton of you fuckwads nagged the bolstering shit out of me to make my Lego Optimus available through Lego's custom design program thingamajigger. I never intend to make it so.

HOWEVER, I did feel like putting a different design of mine on that thing, but when I got cracking, it turned out my design was too complicated in that the program doesn't even have all the pieces I used.

*double take*

That's right. This design is excruciatingly simple compared to Lego Optimus, but the damned program didn't have all the necessary pieces either way. So I hope you ass hats take a hint, and realize that putting Optimus on there is six levels beyond impossible.

By the way, I'm not mad or anything. I just felt like profaning for no reason.

When you were constructing Optimus did you have to draw him out? I drew my car as a transformer in the hopes of constructing him. Maybe ill try what you did and use different lego's.

Nope. I just used official concept art, screen captures, and CG promotional images of Optimus. I looked at every detail and figured out how to represent it in Lego parts. Keep in mind I built him 3 times. The 1st one got deconstructed to help build the 2nd; and the 2nd was deconstructed to build the 3rd. Each time I made it slightly larger, and more detailed. The 1st one was completed in Summer 07. So it was a process more than a year in the making to get to Version 3. If you'd like, I can compile all the images I used and post them on Flickr.com; I'll then send you the link.

Wow thanks man! That is awesome you put so much work into it. Here is My car as a transformer. [link] I had to take a lot of pics at my engine and the underside of the car lol. Maybe Bionicle peaces would help me to?

Oh yeah, don't leave out ANY Lego categories when you're building your design. Technic and Bionicle parts are pretty much vital for any Lego robot. Here's the link to the images I used: [link]
